This long linear piece is one I am particularly proud of. It captures the delicate lace-like quality I aim to give my work. It invites the eye into layers of its dreamy, moody, and ethereal space.

Every nuanced inch of this painting is achieved through a multi-staged process.  I first applied a layer of plaster, and then sanded down that layer to achieve a graduated and varied texture. On top of the textured plaster, I then applied thin, transparent washes of color of blues and taupes to achieve a moody and delicate surface.
